WHAT STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY....
Has given me some knowledge and understanding - a starting block to use at home to strengthen my back. Catherine Powell
Very useful to have an understanding and plan to move forward with strengthening core muscles, plus a wonderful relaxation at the end. Mary Nicols
Very relaxing and releasing. Enabled me to realise where deep seated tensions are still held in my body. More workshops please! Judy Monk
Thank you for introducing and teaching me the spinal alignment sequence. After months of daily discomfort/pain in the sacro-iliac area I started to practice what you taught me. Initially it seemed hardly worth doing such little movements but after the first couple of days I noticed: the exercises are more strenuous than they look and after every session of 30 minutes my back feels alive and warm.
I persevered for 10 days. The daily SAS practice gradually made my pain disappear, my back feels more comfortable in being upright and as a bonus I started to feel generally calmer and more relaxed. Nice side effect! Michael Cordel, Raglan
“I have been enjoying Dru yoga classes with Kari for the past eighteen months and during that time a small miracle has happened.
I have had a vulnerable lower back for a long time, more recently with almost constant one-sided discomfort. I found it difficult to bend over and then to straighten up afterwards and I had to roll carefully out of bed to one side only. This continued despite chiropractic, acupuncture, Pilates and NHS Back Pain clinic.
However, shortly after starting the yoga classes I realised that my back problem had almost totally resolved. I can now leap out of bed in the morning on either side and put on my socks and shoes with no difficulty. This is my miracle!
And what is also great is that yoga with Kari is FUN !” Judith Carey, Devauden
