🌿 Awaken the Heart: Reignite Energy and Inner Joy

A day to pause, breathe, and rediscover the strength already within you.

Sunday 21 September 2025

Lam Rim Buddhist Centre, Penrhos

As summer slips into autumn, nature begins her gentle turning inward. The days soften, light shifts, and we too may feel the subtle pull to slow down. But for many of us, this change in season brings more than falling leaves — it brings tiredness, heaviness, or a creeping low mood we can’t quite shake.
Awaken the Heart is a one-day retreat designed to help you meet that shift with strength, gentleness and renewed vitality. Through grounded, heart-focused practices, you’ll be supported to reconnect to your energy, uplift your spirits, and feel more emotionally balanced as the season changes.

This isn’t about forcing a smile or pretending to feel good. It’s about remembering the joy that still lives underneath the fatigue or fog — and creating space for it to rise.

🍁 You’ll experience:

  • Heart-centered Dru Yoga to gently release stagnant energy and open the body
  • Breathwork to calm the mind and lift your energy naturally
  • Guided meditation to restore inner connection and emotional steadiness
  • Yoga Nidra (deep rest) to nourish your nervous system and help you reset

All of this takes place in the peaceful sanctuary of the Lam Rim Buddhist Centre, a nurturing retreat space surrounded by trees, gardens, and stillness — the perfect place to turn inward and reconnect.
