This is a paradise for walking, pony trekking, watching birds, fishing, photography and mountain biking. Rhayader, a thriving market town, is approximately two miles away and offers a variety of shops, pubs, cafes, a recreational centre and an arts venue. The Elan Valley Visitor Centre is within comfortable walking distance and hosts an exhibition detailing the construction of the Dams.
